Fallback Campaign

Learn how to create a fallback campaign to ensure products without labels stay visible on Google Shopping.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

If your campaigns are set up using only the four Labelizer labels, any product without a label won’t be included in a campaign and therefore won’t be advertised.

To ensure all products stay actively advertised, you can set up a fallback campaign. This will include products that haven’t been assigned a label yet—such as newly added items, which typically receive a label within 24 hours—keeping them visible on Google Shopping.

In general, we always recommend setting up a fallback campaign as a safety net. If any unexpected issues prevent products from getting labels, this ensures they continue to be advertised.

How to set up a Fallback Campaign

Create a campaign where you exclude Hero, Sidekick, Zombie, and Villain products.

To do this, simply select all four labels in the asset group and manually disable them (see the image below). This way, only unlabeled products are included.

In most cases, this campaign will stay empty or only fill up when new products are added to your feed, but it ensures all products are advertised without interruption.
