Please read here what to do if your account is suspended because of misrepresentation.

Our customer success team is here to support you as best as we can, but it's important to understand that misrepresentation is a complex issue with various potential causes. Addressing it often involves Google's specialized policy teams, and because of this, we cannot always guarantee a resolution. Additionally, our Google account managers have limited involvement in these cases.

What does misrepresentation mean in Google Merchant Center?

Google aims to create a safe and positive experience for all users on its platforms and partner sites. To maintain this standard, Google has established a set of policies that all advertisers must follow. If your account has been flagged for violations, it’s important to understand and resolve these issues by reviewing Google Shopping policies. For detailed guidance and to help you identify and correct problems in your account, please visit the Google Help Center

To help improve your compliance, please ensure that the business information in your Merchant Center account is accurate and consistent with the details on your website. Key areas to review include:

  • Contact Details: Make sure your address and phone number are up-to-date.

  • Customer Service Information for Shopping Ads: Include a working URL, email, and phone number.

  • Website Address & Merchant Center Name: Ensure these match and are consistent.

  • Tax and Shipping Settings: Verify these are correctly configured.

  • Refund Policy: Clearly state your return and refund policies.

I keep receiving disapprovals. Will switching to Producthero CSS resolve this?

Switching to Producthero CSS will not resolve compliance issues with Google’s policies. While we can help identify potential problems in your account, you will still need to address these issues directly and undergo Google’s review process.
