Make the Producthero labels available in Google Ads

Follow these steps to add the labels from the Labelizer to Google Ads.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Labelizer automatically groups your products based on their performance, labelling them as Heroes, Sidekicks, Villains, or Zombies. These labels can be linked to your Google Ads, allowing you to to segment your campaigns and allocate your budget more effectively.

You need to follow these two steps:

Step 1: Add the Producthero supplemental source in the Merchant Center

The Producthero Labelizer labels are transferred to your Merchant Center and Google ads account through a Supplemental Source.

For detailed, step-by-step instructions, you can refer to 👉 this help guide or watch our video tutorial:

Important: If you have multiple feeds in your Merchant Center, you must set up a supplemental source for each one. Each feed label and language combination has a unique supplemental source URL, so make sure to configure a supplemental source for every feed separately.

Step 2: Select a Custom Label for the Labelizer labels

Navigate to the Advertising section on the left sid and click on 'Feed Settings'

.

Click 'Enable in feed'.

Select an empty Custom Label. If all labels are in use, you’ll need to free one up first.

Click 'Save Feed Settings'.

✅ That’s it! After the next feed update, your Labelizer labels will be ready for use in your Google Ads campaigns. Please allow up to 24 hours for the labels to appear.

Once your feed updates in Merchant Center, your product overview will look something like this:
